Flude Property Consultants were delighted to have their very own Alice Masterman take part in PropSail on Thursday the 9th of June. Held at the Royal London Yacht Club in Cowes, PropSail is a fantastic day of sailing, fundraising and networking with other property professionals. 

Alice was the skipper in her team and was joined by Leigh Rowley and Jonathan Smith from Paragon, a Colliers Company, and Chris Davies from Uncommon, on the official Paragon boat. The team secured gold by winning the first 3 races and finishing second in the 4th race, with a total of 5 points.

Alice has been involved in PropSail since 2018 where she was invited as a sponsored sailor through GVA and met the committee and enjoyed the day immensely so was keen to get involved with the event again now she is an official member of the property world.

Alice was joined by Flude’s Mary Jackson and Ed Deslandes as moral support on the day and Andrew Halfacree joined her as a skipper on another boat.

Graduate Surveyor, Alice Masterman, commented “I was invited to Propsail 4 years ago and I have always wanted to go back as it is a fun, sociable event in a sport that can be accessible to all. I had the pleasure of skippering for the Paragon BC boat and with great team work, we managed to secure the win with 3 bullets and a 2nd.

The event was really well-organised, the Race officers ran good, competitive racing and the Royal London hosted a great evening. I definitely can’t wait till next year and I am really happy that I could get out on the water to represent Flude!”
