Flude Property Consultants’ Director Recognised as CoStar Awards Winner

Flude Property Consultants’ director, Andrew Halfacree, has been named as a winner in the Quarterly CoStar Awards. The awards recognise the ‘best of the best’ firms in the UK commercial property sector by honoring the best transactions every quarter.
Andrew Halfacree won the category ‘top leasing deal’ in the South East market after concluding a new letting for Unit 17 at The Guildbourne Centre in Worthing.
Andrew negotiated terms for a new lease with Fit Lab Worthing Ltd who have taken this unit of 21,000 sq ft at the fully enclosed shopping centre. Fit Lab have undertaken a comprehensive refurbishment and are open for business providing a state of the art gym, fitness studio and CrossFit facility.

Andrew Halfacree commented, "Like many shopping centres, the Guildbourne Centre has had to work hard to maintain relevance during what has been a very difficult few years for the traditional bricks and mortar retail sector. We have been lucky to have a client who recognises this, who has been open minded on options for the centre and willing to diversify and invest. The letting to Fit Lab follows a letting in 2019 to Redeemer – a Worthing based Church who took 13,000 sq ft on the first floor. Redeemer undertook a comprehensive fit out to provide an auditorium, various meeting rooms, co-working office space, nursery and commercial kitchens. Both Fit Lab and Redeemer are welcome additions to the Guildbourne Centre as well as to the wider Worthing community".
