Flude Sponsor Brighton’s 88th Pier to Pier Swimming Race

Flude were delighted to support Brighton Swimming Club’s 88th Pier to Pier event held on Sunday 23rd June.
The long-standing race has now expanded into two events with over 500 swimmers taking part. The first being the new Swim Experience, where swimmers get to complete the same course as the main race event which is held afterwards. All swimmers start on the beach next to the derelict West Pier and swim a kilometre against the current, finishing beneath the iconic Palace Pier. This year’s race was won by Leonardo Masserini, who completed the course in just 13 minutes.
The prize giving ceremony took place at Sea Lanes National Outdoor Swimming Centre, which opened last year and is where Flude Property Consultants oversaw the letting of the various newly built purpose-built units to a range of retail, office, and well-being occupiers.
It was amazing day and received incredible feedback from the swimmers who have already said they can’t wait for next year!
