Tottington Manor Hotel in Henfield to Reopen in New Hands

Thursday 25 March 2021

Flude Property Consultants are delighted to announce that Tottington Manor Hotel in Henfield has now completed and the business is in new hands. They hope to reopen shortly when lockdown restrictions have been lifted.

Tottington Manor dates back to the 17th Century and is Grade II listed. Steeped in local history, the property had a particular highlight in the Second World War when it was requisitioned by the MOD as the headquarters of a secret Sussex army of ‘saboteurs’ whose job would have been to attack the Germans if they had succeeded in invading this country.

Set in the beautiful South Downs, yet within approximately 12 miles of Brighton and 10 miles of Worthing, Tottington Manor enjoys a rural setting but is in easy reach of surrounding villages and towns, giving it a wide catchment area.

Will Thomas, Director and lead leisure agent, commented, ‘I was delighted to have been involved and look forward to revisiting once it has re-opened. This hotel and restaurant is situated in a lovely position with outstanding views of the South Downs and I am sure will become the go to destination very soon. Interestingly this represents our 5th hotel transaction in recent months and is just another indicator of the levels of interest out for the leisure sector in these strange COVID times’.
