Flude Property Consultants are delighted to share with you the most recent office market update prepared by our dedicated office agents; Ed Deslandes, Lizzie Cottrell and Sebastian Martin.
We are pleased to report that we are now once again experiencing a good and consistent level of demand for offices in Brighton & Hove. Demand is mainly centered around good quality space located in the core city centre area, with a preference for space that is well fitted and ready for immediate occupation.
This trend looks set to continue with an increasing number of our clients now undertaking comprehensive refurbishments to offer fully fitted plug & play space, and as best exemplified by our clients Legal & General, with their newly created Capsule suites at One Jubilee Street which we have just launched to the market. The local office market in Chichester remains subdued, with fewer enquiries being received in comparison with the beginning of the year. Our discussions with occupiers suggest that many requirements are being put on hold with the energy crisis considerably increasing the cost of office accommodation. Despite this, a handful of lettings have still been completed over the past quarter, and hopefully now the holiday period is over, we will begin to see better levels of activity.
